Hillsdale Hikers is an outdoor nature school inspired by the principles of Charlotte Mason. Along with Miss Mason we believe that “there is no education without nature,” and that a connection with the natural world is foundational and necessary. Immersing children in nature fosters attentiveness, peacefulness, gentleness, and a love of learning that will serve a child throughout their life.

About me
Hello! My name is Ashley Parker. I have over 15 years of experience teaching in various settings, but my favorite gig by far was teaching at a nature preschool that met in the foothills of the Wasatch mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m passionate about helping small children connect with nature in a way that will serve them emotionally, spiritually and physically throughout their lives. I’m excited to bring my experience and passion to the families in Hillsdale County!
